Chicken Tinga with Chipotle

This chicken tinga will delight you with its spicy and delicious flavor; it will be the perfect dish to take anywhere, as you can eat it cold or hot, and it pairs well with tostadas and cream.

  • 3 Roma tomatoes, cut into quarters
  • 1 chipotle chile, canned
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 white onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cube Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon
  • 1 leaf bay

  • Blend the tomatoes with the chipotle and water. Strain and set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a wide pot and sauté the onion with the garlic until soft and translucent.
  • Pour in the tomato sauce, add the Knorr® Suiza Chicken Broth cube, and let it season over medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Add the chicken, the bay leaf, and let it cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve and accompany with corn tortillas or tostadas.
