Chicken with Emmental Cheese Sauce

Emmental cheese is a very rich French cheese with a medium flavor. Enjoy this chicken with a delicious emmental cheese sauce.

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, and halved
  • pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 100 grams Emmental cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated

  • Wash and dry the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet, melt the butter and brown the breasts on both sides for about 5 minutes. Place them in an oven-safe dish.
  • In a small pot, mix the cream, garlic, and cheeses over low heat until it boils. Stir constantly to prevent sticking.
  • Cover the breasts with the sauce and bake in the oven at 200°C for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
