Chicken Milanesa Rolls with Vegetables

Invented by me. This recipe for chicken Milanesa rolls with vegetables is a different combination but tastes very good.

  • 5 chicken cutlets
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables, finely chopped
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 garlic
  • italian seasoning, for meats
  • 3 cascabel chiles, or colored chili
  • 3 tomatillos, cooked
  • 2 cups chicken bullion
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 2 potatoes, chopped and peeled

  • In a pot with water, boil the tomatoes with the chili until softened... separately, heat oil in a large pan.
  • Prepare the Milanesa completely flattened, seasoned on both sides. Place the vegetables on one edge of the Milanesa and roll them up tightly, securing the end with a wooden toothpick to prevent it from unrolling. Do the same for each roll.
  • The Milanesa rolls are added to hot oil, lowering the flame to medium so they brown, covered to release their natural juices. Cook for ten minutes on one side and another 10 minutes on the other side. In the last 10 minutes, add the chopped potatoes so they can soften.
  • Blend the tomatoes, chilies, onion, salt, and garlic with the chicken broth... This sauce is sautéed in a little oil for 5 minutes.
  • Once the chicken Milanesa rolls and potatoes are ready and cooked, add the sauce you prepared earlier. Add the ground pepper. Cover and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  • And DONE!!!
