Chicken a la Bresa

  • 2 cubes Knorr Tomate® tomato bouillon
  • 4 chicken thighs, without skin
  • 1/2 cups onion, cut into small squares
  • 1 sprig celery, washed and disinfected, without leaves and sliced
  • 1 cup leek, washed and disinfected, chopped
  • 2 carrots, washed and disinfected, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon Maizena® cornstarch

  • In a pot over high heat, sauté the chicken in the oil until it takes on a light golden color on all sides. Lower the heat and add the onion and garlic. Stir constantly until it becomes translucent.
  • Add the carrot and cook, stirring constantly for a couple of minutes. Then add the celery and leek, integrate them well, and cook for 5 more minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Pour 2 cups of water into the pot and season the stew with Knorr Tomato® Tomato Seasoning cubes. Mix everything well, cover the pot, and cook for 25 minutes. Dissolve the Maizena® cornstarch in the remaining half cup of water, pour it into the stew, and integrate. Boil to thicken.
