Stuffed Chicken Breasts with Bacon and Cheese

Try these delicious stuffed chicken breasts with feta cheese and bacon; you can serve them with steamed vegetables.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • salt, and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 4 boneless chicken breast, and skinless
  • 4 slices feta cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, fried and drained

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper well.
  • Make a lateral cut in each breast to create a sort of pocket. Fill each breast with 1 slice of feta cheese and 1 slice of bacon.
  • Preferably secure the opening with toothpicks or by tying it.
  • Place the chicken in a baking dish and drizzle with the prepared oil.
  • Herbs can be added if desired.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, occasionally basting the breasts with the oil from the dish.
