Chicken in Plum Sauce

For chicken and sweet lovers, this recipe is delicious, and the plum sauce gives a unique flavor to the chicken.

  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 2 boneless chicken breast, cut in half
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cups onion, in pieces
  • 1/4 sticks cinnamon
  • 6 plums, boneless black ones cut into quarters
  • 1/2 teaspoons granulated chicken bouillon
  • 4 tablespoons honey, KARO
  • salt and pepper

  • Heat the oil in a skillet and cook the chicken breasts until golden on all sides. Season with salt and pepper and bake at 160°C for 10 minutes or until ready and tender; set aside.
  • For the sauce, heat the oil in a saucepan and cook the onion until golden.
  • Add the cinnamon, plums, and continue cooking until soft.
  • Cover with water and chicken bouillon powder. Boil for 5 minutes.
  • Blend together with KARO Honey. Strain and boil for 2 more minutes, adjusting the seasoning.
