Chicken Tacos al Pastor with Hunt's ® Habanero BBQ Sauce

  • 1 kilo chicken fajitas
  • 3 oranges, just the juice
  • 12 guajillo chiles
  • 4 árbol chiles
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 25 grams achiote
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 clove
  • 150 grams Habanero BBQ sauce Hunt´S ®
  • 3 dried bay
  • 2 Habanero chiles, for garnish
  • 1/2 cups onion, chopped, for garnish
  • 1/2 cups canned pineapple, chopped, for garnish
  • lime, for garnish
  • 1/2 cups fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish

  • Boil the chiles in water for 15 minutes on low heat.
  • Place the chicken fajitas in a bowl, add Hunt's ® Habanero BBQ Sauce, incorporate the orange juice, pepper, and ½ cup of vinegar.
  • Blend the previously boiled guajillo and árbol chiles, add ½ cup of vinegar, one clove of garlic, ½ onion, ¼ of achiote, cloves, and pour this mixture into the chicken bowl.
  • Place the pot with the marinated meat over low heat and add the 3 bay leaves, salt to taste. Cook for 20 minutes.
