Chicken Tinga with Tomatillo

Here we present a delicious chicken tinga with green tomatoes and chorizo, ideal for eating in tacos or tostadas.

  • 1 chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 2 balls chorizo
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 10 tomatillos, (leaf tomato) sliced
  • 2 chipotle chiles
  • 3 tomatoes, cooked

  • Cook the chicken and tomatoes.
  • Fry the chorizo with the onion in a little oil and then add the tomatillos.
  • Blend the tomatoes with the chipotle pepper, a little water (it can be the water where the tomatoes were cooked or some chicken broth), seasonings if desired (tomato bouillon cube, garlic, onion) and salt.
  • Mix all ingredients in a saucepan, including the shredded chicken.
  • Let it dry a bit and serve in tacos or tostadas.
