Good stewed chicken recipes don't have to be very complicated, like this Neapolitan chicken, perfect for any day of the week, very easy to prepare, and with ingredients you surely have at home. Go ahead and try it!
2 cups tomato, boneless (poached), cut into large cubes, for the sauce
1 tablespoon garlic powder, for the sauce
1 tablespoon onion powder, for the sauce
1 tablespoon oregano, for the sauce

1 leaf bay, for the sauce
4 chicken cutlets, 200 g as needed
2 eggs, beaten, for breading
1 cup breadcrumbs, for breading

1 cup ham, slices
1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon thyme, fresh, leaves
potato chips, French fries, for accompaniment

In a small pot, pour the olive oil and cook the poached tomato with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, bay leaf, salt, and black pepper for 15 minutes, or until the tomatoes break down.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Dip the chicken cutlets in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs, place them in a baking dish with a little spray oil, and bake for 12 minutes at 180 °C.
Take the chicken out of the oven and cover it with the tomato sauce, ham, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, oregano, and thyme. Bake for another 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked.
Serve hot, garnish with thyme, and accompany with French fries.
