Fried Chicken and Cheese Sandwich

Try this handy fried chicken and cheese sandwich, which has a delicious touch of McCormick® Guacamole Mayonnaise Dressing, you'll love it! On top of that, this sandwich has an irresistible explosion of flavors, you can't miss it!

  • 4 half chicken breasts, skinless and boneless, slightly flattened
  • 2 cups whole milk, for the chicken
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce, for the chicken
  • 4 cups flour, for the chicken
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder, for the chicken
  • 1 tablespoon paprika, for the chicken
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper, for the chicken
  • salt, for the chicken
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking powder, for the chicken
  • egg, for the chicken
  • vegetable oil, for frying the chicken
  • 8 slices sandwich bread
  • 8 tablespoons McCormick® Guacamole Mayonnaise Dressing
  • cheddar cheese
  • butter, for toasting the bread
  • McCormick® Guacamole Mayonnaise Dressing, for accompaniment

  • Add the chicken breasts, milk, and hot sauce to a bowl. Then cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Mix the flour, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and baking powder in a bowl, then mix with a fork. In another bowl, place the egg. Remove the chicken from the milk and dip it in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally back in the flour. Set aside.
  • Fry each chicken breast for 10 minutes in a pot with hot oil over medium-high heat. Remove and place on a plate with paper towels.
  • On a cutting board, place each slice of bread and spread with McCormick® Guacamole Mayonnaise Dressing. On 4 of the slices, place a fried chicken breast and cheddar cheese. Top with the other slices of bread and set aside.
  • Heat the butter on a grill over medium heat, brown each of the fried chicken and cheese sandwiches, and set aside.
  • Serve the fried chicken and cheese sandwich on a board and accompany with McCormick® Guacamole Mayonnaise Dressing.
