Chicken in Strips Sauce

This chicken has a special sauce made with strips of pasilla chili, a little orange juice, and prunes.

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 6 chickens, skinless and fat-free
  • 1/2 onions, sliced
  • 1/2 liters orange juice
  • 12 pasilla chiles, medium, deveined, and rinsed
  • 12 prunes
  • 1 tablespoon Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon
  • salt and pepper
  • water, if necessary

  • In a hot pot, add the oil, place the chicken pieces, sprinkle with a little salt and pepper, and let them brown on both sides.
  • Add the sliced onion and immediately the orange juice.
  • Cut the pasilla chili into thin strips and add them to the pot with the chicken.
  • Add the prunes and season with Knorr Suiza chicken broth, let it cook for a few more minutes until the chicken is well cooked and the strips are soft.
