  • TO PREPARE THE CHICKEN: The chicken will be battered in Orly batter; we will need about 200 g of water, 200 g of flour, a splash of extra virgin olive oil, and a packet of baking powder. Clean the green pepper and cut it into somewhat large cubes, do the same with the onion and fry slowly in olive oil.
  • Prepare a skillet with plenty of oil. Once it's hot, place the battered chicken pieces one by one (to prevent them from sticking), when they are golden brown, remove them and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • TO PREPARE THE SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE: In the blender, add the cold water or chicken broth and add the cornstarch. Blend and eliminate any lumps that remain, add the sugar, honey, orange juice, lemon juice, soy vinegar, and sherry. Place this mixture in a pot, add the green onion and heat.
  • Once it's simmering, add our sauce with the peppers we made with the chicken and add the chicken.
