Parmesan Chicken Breasts

Prepare these delicious Parmesan chicken breasts, which, in addition to their crispy coating, are topped with classic Hunt’s® traditional pasta sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. They have a touch of fresh basil, and best of all, everything is made in the same skillet.

  • 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, slightly flattened
  • 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Hunt’S® traditional pasta sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • basil, for garnish

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the cheese, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  • Coat the chicken breasts by dipping them in flour, egg, and the breadcrumb mixture.
  • In a cast-iron skillet, heat the oil over medium heat and cook the breasts on both sides until golden.
  • In the same skillet, cover the breasts with Hunt’s® traditional pasta sauce and mozzarella cheese. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, serve immediately with fresh basil.
