Spicy Roasted Chicken

In Mexico, this type of chicken is often sold in chicken shops, markets, and even bakeries and is served with beans, rice, sauces, bolillo, tortillas, potatoes, and more, it’s a delight!On this occasion, we decided to give a spicy twist to the famous roasted chicken and accompanied it with potatoes and La Botanera® Clásica, don’t miss out on this craving!

  • 3/4 cups butter
  • 1/4 cups The Classic Botanera®
  • 2 tablespoons Chilito La Botanera®
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 chicken
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cups orange juice

Low
  • Mix the butter, La Botanera® Clásica, Chilito La Botanera®, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.
  • Cut the potatoes into medium cubes, place them on a baking tray, and drizzle with a little oil, season with salt and pepper. Put the chicken on top of the potatoes, brush with butter until completely covered, and pour the vegetable broth and orange juice. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 170 °C for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
  • Serve the roasted chicken and accompany with potatoes and a touch of La Botanera® Clásica.
