Spiced Chicken

If you're already bored of preparing the same chicken recipes, here’s one that is very simple and will simply give a different flavor to the same usual ingredient.

  • 400 grams chicken breast, strips 1cm thick
  • 10 grams fresh ginger, piece
  • 1/2 tablespoons black sesame seeds
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 50 milliliters orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon pimentón
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground pepper
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce, reduced in salt
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 leaves red sangria lettuce
  • 4 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 8 spinach leafs
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 radishes
  • 4 tablespoons toasted peanuts
  • salt, to taste
  • oranges, zest

  • Peel the ginger with the help of a spoon and finely grate it.
  • Mix the sesame seeds with the garlic, half of the juice, ginger, paprika, orange zest, pepper, soy sauce, and one tablespoon of sesame oil.
  • Marinate the chicken with the previous mixture in the refrigerator for one hour.
  • Heat a large skillet and cook the chicken with the sauce for 4 minutes over medium heat. Set aside.
  • Chop the lettuce and spinach. Cut the avocado into half moons and the radishes into slices.
  • Incorporate the rest of the oil into the juice of one orange and season with salt.
  • Place a base of pieces of lettuce and spinach on each plate.
  • Add the radish and avocado, and drizzle the orange dressing.
  • Serve the chicken hot over the salad and add the peanuts.
