Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180°C) and flatten the chicken breasts.
Tip for flattening the breasts: Place in a plastic bag (zipper type for freezing) and pound with a skillet or rolling pin until flat.
Fill the chicken breasts with two slices of cheese, then 2 slices of ham, and finally 2 slices of cheese and roll up. Use a toothpick if necessary to hold the shape.
Mix the breadcrumbs with thyme, finely chopped garlic, melted butter, and salt and pepper.
Beat the eggs. Season the flour with salt and pepper as well.
Dip the chicken rolls first in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
Bake until the chicken breasts are cooked, about 20 minutes.
Alternatively, before placing the chicken breasts in the oven, you can fry them in a bit of butter and then finish cooking in the oven for 13-15 minutes.
