Chili Dog

This chili dog recipe is an easy option for a weekend meal with the family. This way you can complement your hot dog with this ground meat stew, pinto beans, ground cumin, and a touch of BBQ sauce. It's delicious; you'll love it.

  • 2 guajillo chiles, seedless
  • 1 tomato, quartered
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cube Knorr Tomate® tomato bouillon
  • 1/2 cups chorizo, shredded
  • 3 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/3 cups onion, chopped
  • 250 grams ground beef
  • 2 sausages, slice
  • 2 cups pinto beans, cooked
  • 1/2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cups water
  • 8 hot dog buns

  • Boil the chiles with the tomato until they soften. Blend these ingredients with the garlic and the Knorr Tomato® Tomato Seasoning cube, strain, and set aside.
  • Heat a pot and fry the chorizo with the bacon. When slightly browned, add the onion, meat, and sausage. Cook until browned.
  • Add the blended tomato to the pot and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Add the beans, seasonings, and water. Simmer on low heat for 3 more minutes and serve in hot dog buns.
