Chipotle Chicken Skewers

These chipotle chicken skewers glazed with Smucker’s® apricot jam will save the day, as they are very easy to prepare with ingredients you likely have at home. You have to try them!

  • 600 grams chicken breast, boneless and skinless
  • 1 onion
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 cups Smucker's® apricot jam
  • 2 chipotle chiles in adobo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 3 tablespoons seasoning sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cups Smucker's® apricot jam
  • chives, for garnish
  • white rice, for garnish

  • Cut the chicken and onion into medium cubes and insert them onto skewers, season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Blend Smucker’s® apricot jam with chipotle, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, seasoning juice, and apple cider vinegar. Coat the skewers with this mixture and marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Cook the skewers on a medium grill for 15 minutes or until cooked through. Brush with Smucker’s® apricot jam throughout the cooking process to glaze them.
  • Serve, pair with white rice, and garnish with green onions.
