Chops in Orange Sauce

  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil, Mazola Olive and Soy
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 tablespoon Cointreau, or curacao
  • salt
  • pepper

  • Season the chops with salt and pepper one hour before cooking.
  • In a skillet, heat Mazola Olive and Soy oil and fry the chops in batches. About 5 minutes on each side.
  • Cover and set aside.
  • Peel an orange and cut it into slices. Extract the juice from the other one. In the same skillet where you fried the chops, fry the orange slices, being careful not to lose their shape. Drain.
  • Add the orange juice and the liqueur, heat while stirring with a wooden spoon. Set aside.
