Cordon Blue Cutlet

The cordon blue is a very traditional recipe for formal events. The recipe consists of chicken stuffed with cheese and ham, and it has a special touch because of the breading.

  • 6 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices Manchego cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • breadcrumbs
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

  • Season each chicken cutlet with salt and pepper.
  • Place a slice of ham and Manchego cheese on each cutlet, fold in half and insert a toothpick to hold it together.
  • Beat the egg until it forms ribbons and dip the breaded cutlets in the egg.
  • Bread them with the breadcrumbs and fry them in oil.
