Creamy Golden Chicken Tacos

  • 1 cup chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 1/4 cups red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/4 cups fresh cilantro
  • 1 cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons ground chipotle chile
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 9 corn tortillas
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cups lettuce, cut into strips, for serving
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream, for serving
  • 1/2 cups panela cheese, crumbled, for serving
  • 1/2 avocados, in cubes, for serving
  • 1 radish, in thin slices, for serving
  • salsa, for accompanying

  • In a bowl, mix the chicken with red onion, garlic powder, cilantro, cream cheese, ground chipotle, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.
  • Heat the tortillas on a griddle and fill with the chicken mixture. Roll into a taco shape and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  • Fry your tacos in oil in a pan over medium heat until golden brown. Drain them on paper towels.
  • Serve with lettuce, cream, cheese, avocado, radish, and accompany with your preferred sauce.
