Lettuce Tacos with Duck and Plum Sauce

  • 1 can pineapple, drained and chopped
  • 1/3 cups cherry sauce, Chinese
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoons dried chile
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil, Chinese
  • 2 cups duck, shredded
  • 1/2 cups green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cucumber, chopped without seeds
  • 2 plums, fresh and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 12 leaves Romaine lettuce

  • In a small saucepan, add the sauce ingredients and let simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Add the duck and let it heat up. Turn off the heat and add the green onion, cucumber, plum, and sesame seeds.
