Glazed Chicken in Cranberry Sauce

This Christmas, treat all your loved ones or friends to this delicious glazed chicken recipe with a cranberry sauce; it's the perfect flavor to spend time together. Plus, thanks to the Jade Smart® pan, you'll have even cooking and it's very easy, as it can go in the oven by removing the handle.

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/4 cups honey
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cups white wine
  • salt

  • 1 1/2 cups white wine
  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • dried cranberries
  • rosemary, for decoration

  • In a small Jade Smart® pan, heat the butter, and when it starts to melt, add the honey and sugar. Cook for 2 minutes, then add the cranberry juice and ginger; cook for another 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the white wine and season with salt. The sauce should be slightly thick, but be careful not to let it thicken too much, as this sauce will cover the chicken.
  • In a medium Jade Smart® pan, pour in the olive oil and sear the chicken pieces seasoned with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the cranberry sauce over the chicken pieces, add the dried cranberries, remove the handle from the pan, and cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 180 °C for 20 minutes.
  • Serve the glazed chicken in cranberry sauce in the same Jade Smart® pan, decorate with rosemary, and enjoy.
