Glazed Ham with Orange Chutney

  • 1 smoked ham
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Special Olive Oil®
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 apples, cut into cubes
  • 8 oranges, in wedges
  • 2 teaspoons ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 cups vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups Great Value® Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons clove
  • 1 orange, in slices for decoration

  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  • Heat the oil in a pot over low heat, cook the onion until translucent, then add the apple and orange wedges, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the mustard, ginger, cumin, sugar, and vinegar. Cook until it reduces and has a jam-like consistency. Cool and set aside.
  • Place the ham on a tray and cut diagonally, repeat the cuts in the opposite direction to create diamonds.
  • Pour the chutney over the ham, inserting the cloves into each incision you made.
  • Bake for an hour and a half.
  • Serve in slices and drizzle with the orange chutney. Buy HERE
