Beef and Pineapple Skewers

For those who love practicality, I bring you this recipe. It is delicious, exotic, and extremely easy. The flavors combine perfectly, and if served with rice or salad, even better.

  • 1 kilo skirt steak, or thick cut sirloin
  • barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • oregano
  • pinches salt, and pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 1/2 pineapples

  • Cut the meat into cubes, marinate it in a bowl. Add wine vinegar, minced garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, and olive oil.
  • Cut the red onion into large squares and the pineapple into triangles or cubes.
  • Insert a cube of meat, one of onion, and one of pineapple onto each soaked skewer. Make as many skewers as you desire.
  • You can brush the skewers with barbecue sauce before placing them on the grill.
  • Take them to a grill or pan and cook on each side for about 5 minutes or until they are golden brown and the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.
