Hawaiian Chicken Skewers

Chicken recipes can be as delicious and simple as you want. A clear example is this Hawaiian Chicken Skewers recipe, which are brushed with a homemade buffalo sauce and can be served with some vegetables. This way of making skewers is simple, but you can swap chicken for shrimp to achieve a unique flavor.

  • 1/2 cups Primavera® Chantilly Margarine, tin 190g
  • 2/3 cups hot sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon raw sugar
  • 1 red onion, cut into cubes
  • 500 grams chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup pineapple, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup deli ham, cut into cubes
  • 2 Jalapeño chiles, cut into thick slices
  • salt and pepper
  • parsley, chopped, for garnish

  • For the sauce, in a pot over low heat, melt the Margarina Primavera® Chantilly and add the sauce, vinegar, salt, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, white pepper, garlic, onion powder, and sugar. Allow to come to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove.
  • Assemble the skewers by threading the red onion, chicken, pineapple, ham, and jalapeño pepper onto skewers, alternating the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Heat a grill pan over high heat and cook the skewers on all sides until the chicken is cooked through. In the last few minutes of cooking, brush with the buffalo sauce.
  • Serve the skewers with chopped parsley and enjoy.
