Ham Croquettes

Breaded and lightly fried ham croquettes. A very tasty and simple recipe to prepare, these croquettes include a bit of bell pepper and onion that give them a lot of flavor and make them something different; be sure to try them.

  • 250 grams turkey deli ham, chopped
  • 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 dash cow's milk
  • breadcrumbs, for breading
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cups tomato purée
  • 1/8 cups fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cups sour cream
  • 10 milliliters vegetable oil, for frying

  • In a large skillet, sauté the ham, onions, peppers, and garlic in a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the tomato puree and caramelize.
  • Add the parsley, cream, a splash of milk, and ½ cup of flour.
  • In a food processor, pour in the mixture (once cooled) and make a ham dough.
  • Make small croquettes with the dough and bread them with the egg and the remaining ½ cup of flour.
  • Heat the frying oil in a skillet and fry the croquettes until they are golden brown.
  • Serve.
