  • 1 kilo pork shoulder
  • 1/2 sticks achiote
  • 5 grains black pepper

  • Cut the pork into medium-sized pieces and place in the pressure cooker, covered with banana leaves.
  • Blend the remaining ingredients and pour into the pot over the meat, then cover with more banana leaves.
  • Place the pot on the heat, and when steam escapes or it starts to wiggle, lower the heat and cook for about 40 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Let it cool and uncover, shred the meat and mix with the juice it released.
