Juicy Turkey with Butter and White Wine

  • 1 baguette, for the filling
  • 2 celeries, finely chopped for the filling
  • 1 onion, finely chopped for the filling
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped for the filling
  • 2 cups butter, at room temperature
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped for the butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, for the butter
  • 2 tablespoons fine herbs, for the butter
  • 2 tablespoons thyme, for the butter
  • 3 tablespoons salt, for the butter
  • 1/2 cups white wine, for the butter
  • 5 apples
  • 1/3 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cups white wine
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • In a bowl, add the butter with the rosemary, garlic, thyme, fine herbs, salt, and pepper, and mix until all ingredients are combined. Divide the mixture in half and set one part aside.
  • Place the turkey in a baking dish or tray, tie the turkey legs with hemp string filled with the bread mixture, and cover with the butter you made earlier. Place a blanket of heaven over the turkey and melt the rest of the butter in a pan, then add the white wine. After that, completely coat the turkey with that butter.
  • Bake for 3 hours at 200° C, remove the turkey from the oven, take off the blanket of heaven from the turkey, serve on a platter, and decorate with fresh rosemary, apple, orange, and cherries.
