Shawarma is a typical Middle Eastern dish characterized by a mix of spicy flavors. It is usually prepared with lamb meat, pita bread, sauces, and vegetables. This time, we share this lamb shawarma recipe with you; it's finger-licking good!
1 teaspoon hibiscus flower, in powder, for marinating

For marinating: Mix the natural yogurt, chopped garlic, olive oil, powdered hibiscus, powdered cumin, powdered cilantro, paprika, ground cinnamon, powdered cardamom, powdered clove, nutmeg, powdered ginger, powdered turmeric, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes in a bowl.
Add the sliced lamb meat to the marinade. Mix and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the lamb meat for 10 minutes. Set aside.
Heat a griddle, comal, or skillet on high temperature and warm the pita bread on both sides.
To assemble the shawarma: Place the Eva® Italian lettuce leaves on the pita bread, then add the meat, tzatziki sauce, garlic sauce, red onion, cherry tomato, and cucumber.
