Lemon Chicken with Cilantro

  • 8 chicken, thigh and leg
  • 1 stick butter
  • 8 limes
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

  • Wash the chicken thoroughly, preferably remove the skin and the mucus (the gelatin).
  • In a non-stick saucepan, place a small slice of butter for each piece of chicken, once it melts, add the chicken and squeeze half a lemon per piece, wait for it to brown for a moment and flip, add another slice of butter, another half lemon per piece, and season with salt and pepper.
  • From this moment on, lower the heat and keep an eye on it, flipping occasionally to prevent burning.
  • Place the bunch of cilantro in a cheesecloth bag to remove it when serving, or it can also be blended and poured in until it finishes cooking (optional). Not everyone likes cilantro.
  • Serve hot preferably. If you want to reheat it, do so in the microwave in another utensil.
