Marinated Pork Chops

Delicious and simple recipe for marinated pork chops with ancho chili.

  • 1/4 kilos ancho chile
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme
  • 1 sprig marjoram, fresh
  • 1 leaf bay
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • salt, to taste
  • 3/4 cups red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cups white wine
  • 16 bone-in pork chops, bone-in, 150 grams each

  • Drain the chiles and blend them in the blender along with the peeled garlic, herbs, pepper, salt, vinegar, and white wine.
  • Marinate the pork chops with the semi-thick sauce prepared for 1 hour.
  • Preheat a skillet for 10 minutes and grill each chop for 5 or 6 minutes on each side.
