2 tablespoons chipotle chile in adobo sauce, for the sauce
1 cup chicken broth, for the sauce
1 teaspoon salt, for the sauce

In a bowl, mix the meat with the onion, cilantro, egg, salt, and breadcrumbs. Form the meatballs.
In a skillet over medium heat, heat the oil and sear the meatballs. Set aside.
For the sauce, blend all the ingredients except the salt.
Fry the sauce in the same skillet as the meatballs and cook over low heat, covered, for 20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through. Season with salt.
