Oven-Roasted Pork Leg

A classic oven-roasted pork leg for Christmas dinner. This marinated pork is a rich and good option for the holiday dinner when you don't want to eat turkey and want to switch the menu to something equally delicious. Its rich aroma will fill the whole house while baking. You will love it.

  • 1 pork leg, without skin
  • 2 beers, 325 ml each
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon bay
  • pepper

  • Clean the pork leg very well and remove the skin and excess fat.
  • In a blender, mix the beer with the onion, garlic, thyme, bay leaf, spices, salt, and pepper.
  • Inject the marinade into the pork leg (approximately 20 injections).
  • Then pour the rest of the marinade over the pork leg and let it marinate for 3 days before cooking.
  • Wrap it very well in aluminum foil and place it in a preheated oven for about 3 hours, depending on the size of the leg.
  • Serve with spicy apple sauce.
