Beef Chicharrones

  • 1 kilo beef
  • 1/2 cups Italian dressing
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chile powder
  • 2 cups corn oil
  • 1 cup beer
  • salt, and pepper to taste

  • Cut the beef into pieces. Mix the marinade, beer, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl. Add the meat and coat well, refrigerate covered for 1 hour to marinate. Remove, drain, and discard the marinade.
  • In another bowl, mix the flour, pepper, and chili powder, gradually adding the meat pieces, coating them on all sides, and place on a large plate.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet, adding the meat pieces in batches, cooking for 12 to 15 minutes until well browned and cooked through. Transfer the cooked meat to a baking dish, cover with aluminum foil, and heat in the oven for 10 minutes before serving.
