Fish Chicharrón

Try this fish chicharrón, it's perfect for snacking or preparing in tacos with tortillas and salsa, they turn out delicious.

  • 1 kilo fish, in pieces
  • 1/2 cups Italian dressing
  • 1/4 cups lime juice 1/4 cups lime juice

  • Mix the dressing, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl. Add the fish in pieces and coat well, refrigerate covered for 1 hour to marinate. Remove, drain, and discard the marinade.
  • Mix the flour, pepper, and chili powder in another bowl, gradually adding the fish pieces, coating them on all sides and placing them on a large plate.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet, adding the fish pieces in batches, cooking for 12 to 15 minutes until they are well golden and cooked through. Transfer the cooked fish to a baking dish, cover with aluminum foil, and heat in the oven for 10 minutes before serving.
