Flaming Cheese with Chorizo

Snack with family with this delicious flaming cheese with chorizo, it tastes amazing, you can pair it with tortillas or also with tortilla chips.

  • 100 grams chorizo, fried and crumbled
  • 250 grams Oaxaca cheese, crumbled
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped

  • Sauté the onion in a skillet with the butter, add the chorizo. Once mixed, remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Lightly grease a baking dish, add the cheese and half of the chorizo. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it on low heat until the cheese starts to melt (approximately 3 minutes). Uncover and cook for another 2 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted. Put the remaining chorizo on top of the cheese.
  • Serve hot accompanied by flour tortillas so everyone can prepare their own tacos. It can also be served with a Mexican hot sauce.
