Joycce's Steak Tacos

This recipe was given to me by my sister; when you don't have time to cook something very complicated but still want a lot of flavor, these tacos are ideal, as they are super simple, really easy, and delicious!

  • 1/2 kilos pork tenderloin, or chopped pork steak for tacos
  • 2 onions, medium fillets
  • 2 cups pot bean, very hot
  • 5 tomatillos, cooked
  • 3 serrano chiles, cooked
  • 1 clove garlic
  • garlic salt
  • ground black peppers
  • tortillas, taquera (from the girl)
  • vegetable oil
  • limes, to accompany

  • Season the meat with salt and pepper and let it rest for 1/2 hour in the fridge; in a skillet with enough hot oil, sauté the onion until it turns caramelized, then remove from heat and set aside.
  • Once the onion is removed. In the same skillet, add the meat, stirring constantly, letting it cook well and brown a little; when it's ready, remove from heat and set aside.
  • For the sauce: Blend the tomatoes, chiles, and garlic in a blender and season to taste.
  • Cut the limes, heat the tortillas, warm the beans, and prepare the tacos.
