There is no more traditional recipe for Christmas dinner than pork leg. Here we present the traditional recipe for pork leg with cola soda, which gives the pork a spectacular color and flavor.
In a bowl, add the wine, pepper, garlic, and salt; stir. Inject the leg with this mixture.
Preheat the oven to 180° C.
Place the leg in a baking dish with a little water at the bottom of the container; the leg should be previously seasoned with salt and pepper. Add herbs, and once it is browned, cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for 50 minutes. Remove from the oven, check the state of the pork; if it is cooked, return it to the oven for 10 more minutes without the aluminum foil, so it acquires a golden color.
In a skillet, melt the butter, sauté the prunes, season, and add one-third of the soda. Cook the sauce until it reaches the desired consistency.
Blend this preparation with the rest of the soda. Slice the leg and pour the sauce over it.
