KFC Style Chops

  • 2 cups milk, for marinating
  • 1/4 cups butter, melted, for marinating
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce, for marinating
  • 4 PROAN® Cowboy Pork Chops
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 cups flour, for breading
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder, for breading
  • 1 tablespoon paprika, for breading
  • 1 tablespoon ground pepper, for breading
  • salt, for breading
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking powder, for breading
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • mashed potatoes, for serving
  • coleslaw, for serving

  • Mix the milk, butter, and hot sauce in a bowl. Place the PROAN® Cowboy Pork Chops in the bowl and let marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Add the egg to a bowl, whisk, and set aside. In another bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, salt, and baking powder until well combined. Drain the PROAN® Cowboy Pork Chops, dip them in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and return to the flour. Set the breaded chops aside on a plate.
  • Fry the PROAN® Cowboy Pork Chops in a pot with enough oil over low heat for 15 minutes or until golden brown on the outside and cooked through. Drain the KFC style chops.
  • Serve the PROAN® Cowboy Pork Chops and accompany with mashed potatoes and coleslaw.
