Simple Pork Milanesa

This pork milanesa recipe is ideal for beginners. Follow all the steps to make it perfect.

  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoons mustard, (can be Dijon)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 cups breadcrumbs
  • 8 boneless pork chops, (flattened and boneless or steaks)
  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • Mix the cream and mustard and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Beat the eggs in a deep plate.
  • Put the flour in another deep plate and season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper.
  • Put the breadcrumbs in another deep plate.
  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Dredge the meat in flour, covering both sides well.
  • Then dip in the egg and coat.
  • Finally, coat in the breadcrumbs until fully covered.
  • Repeat with all the pork chops.
  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Place half of the chops until browned (2 minutes on each side).
  • Repeat with the remaining chops.
  • Place on paper towels to absorb excess grease.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve with lemon and mustard cream.
