Pork in Chile de Árbol Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon, granulated
  • 600 grams pork loin, cut into small cubes
  • 4 tomatillos, cut into eighths
  • 1/2 cups onion, cut into medium squares
  • 3 árbol chiles, fresh
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 6 teaspoons vegetable oil

  • In a pot over medium heat, pour 4 teaspoons of oil and sauté the pork to seal it. Then pour in the water and let it boil. Cover and cook the pork for 45 minutes over medium heat.
  • Remove from heat, strain, and reserve both the meat and the cooking broth. Let the broth cool and blend it perfectly along with the tomato, onion, chili, and garlic.
  • In a pot, pour 2 teaspoons of oil over medium-high heat. Then pour the sauce into the pot to lightly sauté it. Add the pork to the sauce and lower the heat. Cover and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat, let rest for 5 minutes, and serve.
