Tamarind Pork Skewers

A delicious way to prepare pork in pieces, the sweet and sour flavor that tamarind adds will delight you. They are perfect to eat as an appetizer or as a main dish.

  • 600 grams pork loin, cut into cubes
  • 2 yellow bell peppers, cut into cubes
  • 2 red bell peppers, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 pineapples, cut into cubes
  • 1 red onion, cut into cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups tamarind pulp, sweetened
  • 1 chipotle chile, canned
  • 1 tablespoon chicken bullion
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 pinch vegetable oil

  • Form the skewers by inserting the meat, peppers, pineapple, and red onion onto the sticks.
  • In a grill or pan, add a little oil and fry the skewers on both sides until the meat is cooked.
  • For the sauce: Blend the pulp with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Serve the skewers with the sauce.
