Poblano Pozole

Chicken pozole whose broth is thickened with poblano chili and green tomato. This is a different and delicious version of pozole. Prepare it and surprise your family with this tasty dish.

  • 3 kilos hominy corn
  • bay
  • 3 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • chicken broth
  • 8 Poblano chiles, roasted and deveined
  • 500 grams tomatillo, cleaned and cut into quarters
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro, clean and disinfected
  • 1 bunch radish, clean and chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lettuce, washed, disinfected, cut into strips
  • tostadas
  • oregano powder

  • In a pot, cook the corn in plenty of water, salt, and a couple of bay leaves.
  • Blend the poblano chiles, tomatoes, and cilantro.
  • In a large pot, combine the broth from the chicken breasts with the green sauce and the corn. Let it boil to integrate everything.
  • Add the shredded chicken and serve hot, accompanied by lettuce, radishes, tostadas, oregano, and lemons.
