Pork Loin in Citrus Sauce

  • 3 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pork loin, whole (800 g)
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cups onion, chopped
  • 3 cups orange juice, natural
  • 1/2 cups honey, KARO
  • 1/2 cups table cream
  • salt and pepper

  • Heat the oil and brown the loin on all sides. Add the garlic and onion, and cook until golden.
  • Pour in the orange juice and add water to cover the loin. Season with salt and pepper. Add KARO Honey and once it boils, cover the pot. Reduce the heat and cook for 1 hour 20 minutes or until the meat is tender.
  • Remove the meat from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes. Slice the loin.
  • Blend the half cream with 1 ½ cups of the liquid in which the meat was cooked. Return to the pot and cook over low heat until it thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper.
