Pork Loin with Cherries

  • 2.5 kilos pork loin
  • 4 tablespoons Maggi seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cubes granulated chicken bouillon
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 liter sour cream
  • 1/2 cups cherry syrup
  • 1 cup ketchup

  • In a baking dish, place the loin and season with salt, pepper, 1 cube of chicken bouillon powder, Maggi sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and let it marinate overnight.
  • Once marinated, sear the loin on all sides; this is to prevent it from drying out or reducing too much.
  • In the blender, add the cream, ketchup, cherries, cherry juice, 1 cube of chicken bouillon powder, and the broth in which the loin was marinated.
  • Place the seared loin in a baking dish and pour the blender mixture over it.
  • Bake in the oven at 180°C for two and a half hours (bake for 1 hour per kilogram of loin).
  • Once ready, slice and decorate with cherries.
