  • 2 cups wheat for kibeh
  • 1 cup ground beef, fresh, clean, and fat-free
  • 1 tablespoon tomato purée
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, small chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cumin powder
  • pepper, to taste
  • milligrams salt, to taste
  • olive oil

  • Wash and place the wheat in a bowl with water for 10 minutes. Then drain well in a fine strainer until all the water is removed.
  • Mix the wheat with the meat in a bowl. Add the peppers and onion and season with cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Pass the mixture through a grinder twice (it should have a firm dough).
