Ribs with Creamy BBQ

This classic of American cuisine is a must for your recipe collection. These juicy ribs are finger-licking good, and of course, you can't miss trying the BBQ sauce dip with homemade Hellmann's mayonnaise; it's a true delicacy.

  • 6 guajillo chiles, without stems or seeds
  • 6 morita chiles, without stems or seeds
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pork ribs, clean and without fat (3.3 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons Knorr® Juicy Rib, Rib Broth
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cups raw sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons cumin
  • 3/4 cups Hellmann’s® homestyle mayonnaise

  • Boil the dried chiles and blend with the least amount of water possible. Strain and heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot; sauté the sauce for 3 minutes; let it cool.
  • Mix the chili puree with vinegar, orange juice, ketchup, sugar, and cumin. Set aside.
  • Season the ribs with Knorr® Juicy Rib and black pepper. In a skillet or grill, heat the remaining oil and brown the meat on all sides.
  • Place the ribs in a baking dish and coat the meat with the prepared BBQ sauce, cover with aluminum foil.
  • Continue cooking for 1 more hour, basting the ribs with more sauce every 10 minutes. Portion the ribs.
  • Mix the remaining BBQ sauce with Hellmann's® Homemade and serve.
