Lentils with Sausages

  • 350 grams lentil legumes La Asturiana®
  • 150 grams sausages, fresh, they taste better with paprika
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • bread crumbs
  • parsley
  • leaves bay
  • vegetable oil, salt and paprika

  • Soak the lentils the night before. The next day, drain them and place them in a pot with the onion, chopped parsley, bay leaf, garlic, salt, and a splash of raw oil.
  • Add water and bring to a boil, adding the sausages halfway through cooking. If the sausages are red, paprika is not necessary.
  • After the cooking time for the lentils, add a little grated bread, letting them cook for about 20 minutes but on very low heat. Let them rest.
  • When serving, remove the bay leaf, onion, and garlic that were added whole earlier.
  • Serve with the sausages chopped.
