Spicy Hot Dog with Blue Cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoons lime juice, for the dressing

  • For the sausage, mix the beef with the pork, bacon, cheddar cheese, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika; add Red Hot® Sauce to moisten the meat. Form sausages by hand and wrap in plastic wrap, chill in an ice bath for 30 minutes, and cook in enough beef broth for 15 minutes. Let cool. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add vegetable oil, brown the sausages for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • For the dressing: in a bowl, mix sour cream with mayonnaise, blue cheese, garlic powder, onion, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  • To assemble the hot dog, place the sausage inside the bun and drizzle with the blue cheese dressing and Red Hot® Sauce; garnish with parsley and serve with French fries. Enjoy!
